If you had to choose, would you take leading a significant movement in the church or experiencing sustained, deep intimacy with Jesus? Our desire as leaders to see movement, multiplication of churches, or revival can easily take priority over our desire to be close with the Lord. This must be fought violently. Impact without intimacy is a recipe for disaster in our lives. He must always have the first place.
