This session is hosted by the Living Water Network, a relational network of microchurch practitioners in war zones and other hard places and their global cheerleaders. Over the last four years we have pursued a bold experiment: Is it possible to cultivate personal relationships and meaningful collaborations between western believers and leaders of underground microchurches in war zones? The results have been surprising: relationships have formed, global intercessory prayer for specific needs is now happening in real-time, western advisory teams have wrapped around underground microchuch leaders serving in artillery bunkers, and underground church leaders have taught western believers how to follow Jesus in chaotic environments, and how to endure suffering well.
This session will describe the opportunity — one that no other generation in history has experienced — for mutually encouraging, real-time, personal relationships to form between individuals and sister microchurches operating on different sides of the planet.
